Day 1
Arrival Chongqing, half day tour in Chongqing (No meal)
Arrive in Chongqing, airport pick up and transfer to hotel, check in. Half day tour you will visit Huguang Guild Hall, Sichuan opera is a type of the oldest Chinese opera most prevailing in southwest China. In contemporary opera, performers wave their arms and twist their heads, and their painted masks are changed again and again, much to the astonishment and amusement of the audience. Then you will visit Hongyadong. Hongyadong offers much in the way of natural eye candy. Next to the Yangtze River and the Jialing River, it offers spectacular views of both water and city. In Chongqing, residences with river views are in high demand; and under the curtain of night, Hongyadong becomes a shiny focal spot of the landscape.

Day 2 Drive to Leshan, visit the Buddha, transfer to Emeishan (Breakfast)
In the morning take train to Chengdu, then drive to Leshan. The Leshan Giant Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year’s construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world with a 71-meter height. Construction was started in AD 713, led by a Chinese monk named Haitong. He hoped that the Buddha would calm the turbulent waters that plagued the shipping vessels traveling down the river.
Transfer to Mount Emei in the later afternoon. Mount Emei which is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious looks like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. It is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains in China, under the patronship of bodhisattva Samantabhadra. With altitude 3099m, it also claims the title of the Most Beautiful Mountain in the Sichuan province, which is known for its mountainous and scenic landscapes bordering the Tibetan plateau. Day 3 Emeishan (Breakfast)
In the morning transfer to the Shuttle Bus Station along, and take the bus to Leidongping (52 kilometers zigzag mountain road), then visit the Golden Summit and Huazang Si.
After the visit, walk down and take bus to visit Wanian Si Temple in the middle of the mountain. And then trek down to experience the beautiful scenery along the mountain lane, pass by Qingyinge and finally stop walking at Wuxiangang Shuttle Bus Station and transfer to the Hotel (at the foot of the mountain). Whole day’s visit takes about 8 hours.

Day 4 Chengdu, Giant Panda Base visit (Breakfast)
In the morning take the sightseeing bus down and transfer back Chengdu. The distance from Mount Emei to Chengdu is 220 km takes about 3.5 hours.
In the afternoon visit Giant Panda Base. This Breeding research centre is situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City. It covers an area of 600 acres. The environment here is exquisitely designed; the air is refreshing with the bamboo growing luxuriantly and flocks of wild birds flying around. There are 39 giant pandas and tens of specious animals such as red pandas and black-necked cranes. The Giant Panda Museum, Butterfly Exhibit Hall and Vertebrae Animal Exhibit are located in the Base.

Day 5 Drive to Irrigations system Dujiungyan and Taoping village (Breakfast)
Today you will visit Dujiangyan irrigation system. Dujiangyan is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world; and a wonder in the development of Chinese science. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou scientifically designed to automatically control the water flow of the rivers from the mountains to the plains throughout the year.
Drive about 2 hours to visit Taoping Qiang Minority Stocked Tower village. Taoping Qiang Village is known as the Mysterious Oriental Castle for its unique builings and complicated roads. With a long history of more than 2000 years, the village still keeps traditional atmosphere. It is the best place to explore Qiang ethnic group’s history, culture, art and custom. We will visit the old village and the new village.

Day 6 Chengdu bazar, Sichuan Tea house, hot pot dinner (Breakfast/-/Dinner)
Transfer back to Chengu in the morning. The distance from Mount Emei to Chengdu is 180 km takes about 2.5 hours.
Afternoon visit Chengdu bazar and Tea houses. Tea houses of Sichuan rank first in the world, while those of Chengdu rank first in Sichuan. Tea houses play an important role in the lives of natives. Distributed throughout the city, tea houses are far more than places for drinking tea. They are places for relaxation and social activities, and even more, as a reflection of local life. Here one may enjoy such genuine Chinese teas as jasmine, Maofeng and Zhuyeqing, and Sichuan opera performances as well.
Hot pot is the most famous and favorite dish in Sichuan. Sichuan local people consider the hot pot a local specialty, which is noted for its peppery and hot taste, powerful yet fresh and tender. Traditionally Hot Pot is eaten in the cold months. The boiling liquid, meat, and spices all contribute to the warming of the body and soul, instantly taking the chill out of winter. But now people don’t mind what season it is, Hot Pot is welcome at any time.

Day 7 Chengdu, departure (breakfast)
Hotel picks up, transfer to airport and departure. End of services.
