Day 1 Arrival Chongqing, half day city tour (No meal)
Arrive in Chongqing, airport pick up and transfer to hotel, check in.
Half day tour you will visit Huguang Guild Hall, Sichuan opera is a type of the oldest Chinese opera mostprevailing in southwest China. In contemporary opera, performers wave their arms and twist their heads, and their painted masks are changed again and again, much to the astonishment and amusement of the audience.
Then you will visit Hongyadong. Hongyadong offers much in the way of natural eye candy. Next to the Yangtze River and the Jialing River, it offers spectacular views of both water and city. In Chongqing, residences with river views are in high demand; and under the curtain of night, Hongyadong becomes a shiny focal spot of the landscape.

Day 2 Train to Chengdu, drive to Mount Leshan, transfer to Mount Emei (Breakfast)
In the morning take D train to Chengdu, then drive to Mount Leshan. The Leshan Giant Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year’s construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world with a 71-meter height. Construction was started in AD 713, led by a Chinese monk named Haitong. He hoped that the Buddha would calm the turbulent waters that plagued the shipping vessels traveling down the river.
Transfer to Mount Emei in the later afternoon. Mount Emei which is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious looks like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. It is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains in China, under the patronship of bodhisattva Samantabhadra. With altitude 3099m, it also claims the title of the Most Beautiful Mountain in the Sichuan province, which is known for its mountainous and scenic landscapes bordering the Tibetan plateau. Day 3 Mount Emei full day exploration (Breakfast)
In the morning transfer to the Shuttle Bus Station along, and take the bus to Leidongping (52 kilometers zigzag mountain road), then visit the Golden Summit and Huazang Si.
After the visit, walk down and take bus to visit Wanian Si Temple in the middle of the mountain. And then trek down to experience the beautiful scenery along the mountain lane, pass by Qingyinge and finally stop walking at Wuxiangang Shuttle Bus Station and transfer to the Hotel (at the foot of the mountain). Whole day’s visit takes about 8 hours.

Day 4 Drive back to Chengdu, visit an ancient village (Breakfast)
In the morning take the sightseeing bus down and transfer back Chengdu. The distance from Mount Emei to Chengdu is 220 km takes about 3.5 hours.
On the way back, you will visit an ancient village Huanglongxi. Huanglongxi Ancient Town, 40km south of Chengdu, is a charming riverside village whose half-dozen understated Qing-dynasty streets – all narrow, flagstoned and sided in rickety wooden shops – featured in the martial-arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Day 5 Visit the Irrigations system Dujiungyan and Taoist Mount Qingcheng (Breakfast)
Today you will visit Dujiangyan irrigation system. Dujiangyan is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world; and a wonder in the development of Chinese science. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou scientifically designed to automatically control the water flow of the rivers from the mountains to the plains throughout the year. Then you will visit Mount Qingcheng, called Zhangren Mountain (zhàng rén shān 丈人山), is located in southwest Dujiangyan City of Sichuan Province. As a center of the Taoist religion, it became host to many temples. In 2000, the mountain was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Mount Qingcheng is covered with thick forests, and is green all year round. With 36 peaks, the mountain is like a small town, hence the name of Qingcheng, which means green town. Mount Qingcheng is facing the Chengdu Plain , with the Min River at its back. In the mountain there are tens of thousands steps leading to the top, the winding path leading to the secluded quiet place. Since ancient times, Mount Qingcheng is famous for its tranquility.

Day 6   Chengdu city tour incl. Giant Panda Breeding centre, Sichuan Tea house (Breakfast)
In the morning, visit the Giant Panda Breeding centre: visit Giant Panda Base. This Breeding research centre is situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City. It covers an area of 600 acres. The environment here is exquisitely designed; the air is refreshing with the bamboo growing luxuriantly and flocks of wild birds flying around. There are 39 giant pandas and tens of specious animals such as red pandas and black-necked cranes. The Giant Panda Museum, Butterfly Exhibit Hall and Vertebrae Animal Exhibit are located in the Base.
Afternoon, you will visit Chengdu bazaar and Tea houses. Tea houses of Sichuan rank first in the world, while those of Chengdu rank first in Sichuan. Tea houses play an important role in the lives of natives. Distributed throughout the city, tea houses are far more than places for drinking tea. They are places for relaxation and social activities, and even more, as a reflection of local life. Here one may enjoy such genuine Chinese teas as jasmine, Maofeng and Zhuyeqing, and Sichuan opera performances as well.

Day 7 Flight to Jiuzhaigou, visit a Tibetan family (Breakfast/dinner)
Free time at leisure until drive to the airport and fly to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival at Jiuzhaigou airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel in Jiuzhaigou. It takes about 1.5 hours approx. 90 km
You will have an opportunity to visit a Tibetan family on the way. The Tibetans mainly reside in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China as well as in Qinghai, Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces. Jiuzhaigou (literally “Valley of Nine Villages”) in addition to the beautiful scenery, there are also nine Tibetan villages both in and just outside of the park.

Day 8 Jiuzhaigou full day exploration (Breakfast/dinner)
Full day’s exploration in Jiuzhaigou Valley. Free shuttle bus from one scenic spot to another is provided in the valley, you can also enjoy the valley on foot.
Jiuzhai Valley is a national park best known for its fabled blue and green lakes, spectacular waterfalls, narrow conic karst land forms and its unique wildlife. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992; the park joined the Man and Biosphere Conservation Network in 1997 and has also received IUCN, Green Globe and ISO 14,001 accreditations.
Situated in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Jiuzhaigou (Nine-villages Valley) is listed as a World Natrual Heritage and reputed as a “fairyland” with its fantastic natural view. As the water, the “soul of Jiuzhaigou”, is purely and crystal-like clear and rich in colors, there goes the saying that no water is worth your attention after your visit to Jiuzhaigou. The water, the reflection on the bank, the stone mill, the Tibetan villages, the Buddhist streamers and the songs and dances of the Tibetan and Qiang people constitute the unique tourist culture of Jiuzhaigou. 114 green lakes, 47 springs, 17 over flying waterfall groups, 11 sections of turbulent streams, 5 Karst shoals, vast primitive forest and three Tibetan villages are distributed among the three valleys.

Day 9 Drive to Huanglong, Huanglong exploration (Breakfast)
In the morning Drive to Huanglong, Huang Long, meaning “Yellow Dragon”, was denominated a special scenic spot of China in 1982 and entered into “The Natural Legacy Lists of the World” in 1992. Huang Long includes Huang Long Valley, Danyun Gorge, Snow Treasure Peak.
From Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong, it takes 2.5 hours, approx. 130 km. You will spend 4 hours in the Huanglong Park.
