This tour portrays the many faces of Buenos Aires: we will visit the symbol of our city, the Obelisk, squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Alvear; Avenida De Mayo, Corrientes and 9 de Julio among other avenues; La Boca and San Telmo, historic neighborhoods, the magnificent Palermo and Recoleta areas and modern neighborhoods like Puerto Madero; Lezama Park and Tres de Febrero (Palermo) and the commercial and financial areas of the city.

Authentic Tango Experience (shared service): Buenos Aires and Tango are synonymous; visitors can easily find a Tango tour that will include a beautiful stage show that can’t be found outside of Argentina. This tour takes you one step further to where the Porteño goes: to the Milongas. At the Milongas your experience will include an introduction to the codes and traditions of Tango.
We’ll visit a Milonga (the clubs were the locals go to dance Tango) and take a dancing lesson with an expert. A typical Tango Orchestra will perform live and we’ll enjoy the vibe of their music while you can dance. You’ll also learn the codes, history, characteristics of Tango from an expert.

Day 3 Excursion: Fiesta Gaucha with lunch at Santa Susana (Breakfast and lunch)
10:00-16:30/17:00 The excursion brings us to the Argentine countryside where you can enjoy a day on a ranch (estancia) and discover its traditional dance and music, joining a true Festival Gaucho. Typical empanadas and Argentine wine will be served at the welcoming party. Later, you will enjoy a delicious Argentine-style barbecue. A folkloric show with music and dance will take place. Typical gauchos will show their horse-riding skills. A horse exhibition and the sortija will also form part of the show. Ride a horse or hop on a typical sulki to get a real feeling of the way of life of the gaucho. Enjoy the unforgettable experience of getting close to the life in the Pampas and learning about the habits of its people.

We’ll sail from Puerto Pañuelo to Puerto Blest aboard the Gran Victoria, navigating across Lake Nahuel Huapi. You’ll observe the grandeur of the landscapes, the green tones of the forests, the birds that fly close and you’ll learn more about the destination’s fascinating history. BLEST – FRIAS | 11:00 am – 12:00 noon
Arrival to Puerto Blest. We travel by bus along River Frías to Puerto Alegre, and then continue the sailing trip across Lake Frías, aboard the Victoria del Sur. Along this stretch of the lake, we’ll experience beautiful views of Cerro Tronador. After a short sail, we’ll arrive to Puerto Frías where we will complete the necessary steps at the border.

FRIAS – PEULLA | 12:00 – 2:00 pm
We’ll continue by bus to Peulla with beautiful views of the Andes Mountains.

LUNCH IN PEULLA | 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Arrival to Peulla, an ecological lodge and a paradise for nature lovers. Lunch (additional cost). 

PEULLA – PETROHUE | 3:30 – 5:30 pm
We’ll sail to Petrohué, navigating across Lake Todos los Santos. If the weather permits, different and breathtaking views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes and Cerro Tronador can be seen.

PETROHUE – PTO. VARAS | 5:30 – 8:00 pm
We’ll continue to Puerto Varas, passing by Lake Llanquihue. Impressive views of Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominate the landscape. Arrival to Puerto Varas. We are now in Chile, dinner on your own.

Puerto Varas is a city in southern Chile’s Lake District. Take a walk along the Lake Llanquihue, which offers commanding views of snow-capped Osorno Volcano and Calbuco Volcano, both still active. Traditional German-style architecture characterizes the town, reflecting its colonial past. Built in the early 20th century, the red-and-white Sacred Heart of Jesus Church has 3 striking towers. Visit also the Museo Pablo Fierro if time permits.

Day 8: Puerto Natales, Chile (Breakfast)
Torres del Paine National Park, in Chile’s Patagonia region, is known for its soaring mountains, bright blue icebergs that cleave from glaciers and golden pampas (grasslands) that shelter rare wildlife such as llama-like guanacos. Some of its most iconic sites are the 3 granite towers from which the park takes its name and the horn-shaped peaks called Cuernos del Paine.

El Calafate is a town near the edge of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz. It’s mainly known as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park, home to the massive Perito Moreno Glacier, whose ever-shifting icy landscape is popular for hiking and sightseeing. A modern interpretive center called the Glaciarium serves as a primer on the region’s numerous glaciers.

Full day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier with shared service:
The highlight in Patagonia is its ice walls and impressive setting, one of the few advancing glaciers. Huge icebergs from the glacier will collapse into the Lake. The roar of the gigantic ice rocks failing and crashing into the waters of the channels is a unique experience. Walk along the footpath to view the Glacier from different viewpoints.

Nautical Safari
This navigation by the “Brazo Rico” of the Argentine Lake allows appreciating the ice floes of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Arriving until the South end of the channel of Ice floes, the boat is located in a reasonable distance to the wall of the glacier, travelling across in all its extension and allowing sighting the loosening that take place. The boarding is made in the dock located in the Bay “Under the Shade”, approximately at 7 km of the Viewpoint of the Glacier and is a good complement for the Conventional Excursion. This activity, offers the possibility of observing from a perspective completely different, the impressive walls of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its knockings on the Lago Rico´s waters.
