Tour details | Panda and Mount Siguniang
Day 1 Chengdu meet & greet, transfer to Mount Siguniang (Dinner)

Chengdu meet & greet, drive approx 200 km to Mount Siguniang town. Mount Siguniang (also Mt. Four Sister) is regarded as the Deity Mountain by the local Tibetan people. It is said that four pretty girls battled against fierce monsters in order to protect pandas there, and finally they became four towering and charming mountains, which is Mount Siguniang.

Siguniang Mountain has a reputation for continuous succession of standing peaks, rough and steep mountains which soar to the skies. There’s also a rosy glow that suffuses snow-covered mountain peaks. The rolling foothill area with miles of densely wooded country is ploughed in a million curves. Even the sides of rivers are covered in greenery. Its quiet valleys, rare tree species and flourishing trees, all contribute to its primeval beauty; as though it was a wonderful and beautiful view in southern Europe, which is dubbed a “The Alps of the East.” Mount Siguniang was listed as the China National Scenic Resort in 1994 and as the China National Nature Reserve in 1996.

On the way we will cross the Mount Balang (4,532m) and enjoy the magnificent Mountain landscape along the way; we will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Four Girls Mountain if the weather is great.

Arrive in Mount Siguniang town (3200 m), take a rest to acclimate the high attitude. Dinner will be at the hotel restaurant.
