Shanghai arrival, meet and greet at airport and transfer to hotel, check in and stay 2 nights in Shanghai.

Shanghai is a modern and fast paced city, rich in history and culture and with a wealth of areas and sites just waiting to be explored. Discover ‘Asia’s New York’, the massive city with captivating views of skyscrapers and stunning architecture. Get to eat cuisines from all of China’s provinces or try to some local sweeter dishes. It is always a good experience, with new adventures around every street corner.

Day 2   Shanghai Disneyland full day (Breakfast)

Hotel breakfast and Shanghai Disneyland full day visit with return transfer.

Shanghai Disney Resort is the first Disney resort in mainland China. Besides, it is the third one in Asia and the sixth one in the world. Shanghai Disney Resort is the magic land for no matter children or adults to light their imagination, explore and have great fun in the castle and make their beautiful dreams come true.

Day 3   The Bund, Chenghuangmiao, Old town, Zhujiajiao water town village (Breakfast/Lunch)

Hotel breakfast. The first stop is the Bund by walk, enjoying the colonial walking along the Huangpu River. This park-like promenade, stretching along the Huangpu River between the narrow Wusong River and Old Town, was the former Wall Street of the foreign powers. Today the area bristles with activity and excitement virtually any time of the day or night. Crowds gather every morning to perform the slow, graceful exercises known as taichi.

Chenghuangmiao – Town God’s Temple, it is the oldest city area in Shanghai, the style and features of the ancient Chinese towns and streets still kept here. Shanghai Laojie is an ideal place to discover what Shanghai was like in the old days. The eastern section retains characteristics of residences. The western section is filled with Ming and Qing style architecture.

After lunch, will go visit the ancient water town Zhujiaojiao which is located 45 km from Shanghai city Center. Zhujiajiao – With history spanning more than 1,700 years, the little fan-shaped town, being regarded as Shanghai’s Venice, glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains. Unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards attached all transport people who have been living amidst the bustle and hustle of the modern big city to a brand-new world full of antiquity, leisure and tranquillity.

Day 4   High speed train to Beijing, visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City. Stay 2 nights in Beijing (Breakfast)

Hotel breakfast and check out. Transfer to Shanghai railway station and take high speed train to Beijing, 4-5 hours.

Beijing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been the heart of China’s history for centuries, and there is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that does not have at least some national historical significance. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls. Its art treasures and universities have long made it a centre of culture and art in China.

Lunch on your own and arrival Beijing around noon. Meet on arrival Beijing railway station and half day city tour visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is located at the center of Beijing City where you can see Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. It is the world’s largest city square. And then you will visit the Forbidden City. The place was originally established by Emperor Yongle between 1406 and 1420. 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled from the Forbidden City.

After tour transfer to hotel, check in and stay 2 nights in Beijing.

Day 5   Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall excursion (Breakfast/Lunch)

Hotel breakfast. Today you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall winds 1.4 miles through lofty mountains and high ridges, many sections of which are made of granite. The unique structure makes the wall almost indestructible. It measures 23 to 26 feet high and four to five yards wide. Both of the wall’s inner and outer sides have parapets to defend against enemies coming from the two sides. Some parapets are saw- tooth shaped instead of the regular rectangular form. Below the parapets, there are square embrasures the top of which are designed in an arc structure, different from the traditional round embrasures. After the climb, you will take a Slide down the hill. It is also possible to take a cable car up.

Day 6   Beijing departure (Breakfast)

Hotel breakfast and check out. Private transfer to Beijing International airport, trip ends.
