The Sisters’ Meal Festival of the Miao (known as Hmong overseas) of Guizhou takes place every spring. The girls dressed in their embroidered costumes and wear splendid silver apparel. This is an ancient custom of the courtship of the Miao. During the festival, there will be drum dancing, buffalo fights, horse racing, and lusheng dancing. For the coming 2019 Sisters’ Meal Festival, we have designed a weekend getaway that also incl. a visit to a Taoist Buddhist Temple complex in ancient town Zhenyuan and a hiking tour to the karst Mount Yuntai.
