Our Xian Trip during Chinese new year
Dear Christy and Chinabase.

Happy Chinese New Year to all of you!

The whole family were so please about the trip to Xian. The hotel was fine and we were happy to stay in the center of the city. The guide was nice, all though it was an other one than planed ( he had got
some problems with his family ) The weather was a little cold - but I suppose you can't do anything about
that. The only thing to be annoyed about was the holiday, because a lot of the shops were closed - and this we can't complain about.

So thanks a lot for your help!!

Visit Xian during SARS period
sorry, but we have been too busy those days, so that we didn't send a message to you after returning from our trip to Xi'an.

Flight, pick-up and accommodation went very well, no problems.
Of course a lot of controls at the airport, in the hotel and at other places, but we have been healthy and therefore no problems.

The Bell Tower Hotel was nearly empty as well as many tourist attractions have been empty, even on May 1.
This was nice because not so crowded, but unfortunately some areas have been closed, so that we missed them, e.g. The Great Mosque in Xi'an as well as the cinema at the Terracotta warriors.

The guide was friendly, but not flexible enough and not well prepared regarding some alternative tourists sides as soon as?we succeeded to be faster than planned because of?less people there.
But we enjoyed this trip and hope that we will succeed to have the chance for more trips again.
