Apr 09-12 Guizhou Sisters’ Meal Festival
The Sisters’ Meal Festival invites you to an ancient custom of courtship of the Miao people. The festival takes place every spring and is one of the most active festivals of the Miao. More info, please click here.

Jul 13-16 KYOTO GION MATSURI 4 DAYS
This festival – one of the most famous in Japan – is originated as part of a purification ritual (goryo-e) to appease the gods thought to cause fire, floods and earthquakes. More info, please click here.

Aug 19-23 LHASA SHOTON FESTIVAL 5 DAYS
The Shoton Festival is one of the most popular traditional festivals in Tibet. On the first day, a 500m2 Buddha painting (Thangka) will be unveiled, indicating the start of the Shoton Festival. Along with the Tibetan operas and yoghurt eating, a lot of other activities take place such as yak racing, horse racing and dancing. More info, please click here.
