The Sisters’ Meal Festival of the Miao (known as Hmong overseas) of Guizhou takes place every spring. The girls beautifully dressed in their embroidered costumes and wear splendid silver apparel. Young people from several villages gather together, everyone chats and the search for marriage partner commences. This is an ancient custom of the courtship of the Miao. During the festival, there will be drum dancing, buffalo fights, horse racing, and lusheng dancing. For the coming 2012 Sisters’ Meal Festival, we have designed a program for you:
