Day 1 Beijing - Arrival
Meet on arrival at Beijing airport and transfer to hotel. Beijing is the capital of China. Visit Summer Palace in the afternoon. Summer Palace was a favourite haunt of the Empress Cixi. It has a wonderful series of lakeside halls and pavilions.

Day 2 Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was the home of emperors from 1420 (Emperor Yongle, Ming dynasty) to 1924 (the last Qing Emperor Puyi). Later, riding on an organised rickshaw, you will tour the 700-year-old hutongs-the traditional Beijing residence. See Peking Opera in the evening.

Day 3 Beijing
A whole day's trip going to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs the highlight to China.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian
Visit the Temple of Heaven. It was the site of imperial sacrifices at the winter solstice to keep order and harmony on earth. Fly to Xian. Visit the City Wall on the way and then transfer to hotel.

Day 5 Xian
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum. It has an estimated 6000-terracotta soldiers, horses and chariots which lay buried for 2,000 years, guarding the tomb of the first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. City tours including Grand Mosque and its Bazaar.

Day 6 Xian - Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai in the morning. Cruise on Huangpu River in the afternoon. You will have the Bund on your one side and the new economic developing zone Pudong on the other side. The Bund stretches along a section of the Huangpu River, and is bounded on the other side by a row of colonial buildings.It was called "Wall Street" in the '30s.

Day 7 Shanghai
You will visit the old part of Shanghai, Cheng Huang Miao, also Yuyuan Garden - a typical classic Chinese private Garden. Visit Shanghai Museum, located in the centre of the People's Square, opposite the Mayoral House and the Grand Theatre, Shanghai Museum has the finest collection of bronzes, ceramics, antique furniture, traditional and modern paintings in China.

Day 8 Shanghai - Guilin
Today's tour starts at Xintiandi-a place that the Westeners believe to be the real Shanghai, in opposition to the locals, who think it to be very Western. Senior people feel at home there and young people are inspired to do great things with their lives. Before flying to Guilin, do visit the Jade Buddha Temple, it 's the biggest ever carved into one block of jade.

Day 9 Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Li River Cruise to Yangshuo is undoubtedly the highlight of your visit to Guilin. Pass by a local market in Yangshuo and drive 11/2 hours back to Guilin in the afternoon. The Li River girdles the city with numerous sheer rising and tourists appear all in a picture intoxicating.

Day 10 Guilin - Hong Kong
Visiting Reed Flute Cave, an underground cave contains dripping stalagmites and stalactite pinnacles, an illuminated with coloured lights. Elephant Trunk Hill in the city is a symbol of Guilin. Visit also Fubo Hill, stands solitarily by the Li River with its eastern foot submerged in water to subdue the waves. Transfer to the airport. Fly to Hong Kong. Transfer to hotel.

Day 11 Hong Kong
Half day's hong Kong island tour: take the train to the Victoria Peak, where you have a magnificent view over Hong Kong. Sampan ride at Aberdeen will be the highlight of your Hong Kong visit.

Day 12 Hong Kong - Departure
Transfer to the airport. Depart Hong Kong for your next destination.
