Located in western Hunan province, the famous tourist city of Zhangjiajie is the home of China's first forest park - the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - a World Natural Heritage site Wulingyuan. There are many beautiful and famous scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, one of the most attractive scene that Zhangjiajie features is the mysterious mountain covered with dense, primeval forests. It is said that 23 species of rare animals and more than 3,000 species of plants are living in the misty world. Within a few days you will see these spectacular surroundings and much more. Also you will try the new cableway on Mt. Tianzi. As the cable car runs across the dizzying peaks, passengers get a full view of the spectacular landscape that cannot be enjoyed any other way. Despite the new cableway's presence, there are still mountain-climbers struggling to reach the top of Mt. Tianzi.
Day 1 Zhangjiajie - Arrival
Meet on arrival at the airport. Transfer to Hotel and check in. Stay 2 nights in Zhangjiajie city. Use the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie
After breakfast, you will go for a whole day’s exploration tour to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park incl Huangshi Village. Taking the cable car up (and down), visiting Liuqi Pavilion, Picking-star Platform. Then visit Jinbian Brook on foot. Afterwards go to Tianzi Natural Protect Scenic Spots (again by cable car up and down) including Helong Park, West Sea Clouds and etc. Seeing the steeply-rising and grotesque peaks, hearing the streams flowing through valleys, walking through the dense forest, one can’t help acclaiming the perfection nature of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Return to Zhangjiajie city in the late afternoon.
Day 3 Zhangjiajie - Departure
After an early breakfast you check out of the hotel and go for a half day’s tour to Huanglong,Cave in the morning. Huanglong Cave is the largest cave in Asia, and voted as one of the most beautiful caves in China. After this visit you will be transferred to the airport and fly back to Shanghai. Trip ends.
