Beginning in the Chinese capital Beijing there is ample time to witness the iconic attractions of this great city. Continuing to Ulaan Baatar, take an excursion to Hustai Nature Reserve. The next stage of your train journey takes you to Irkutsk in the heart of Siberia. Lake Baikal is a highlight of this region, and you take time to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings by boat and on foot. The final stage of you journey takes you to the city of Moscow where you soak up the immense history through visits to Red Square and the Kremlin in Moscow.

    Day 1 Beijing, Train to Ulaan Baatar (no meal)
    Take train from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar (There are trains on Wednesday and Sunday)
    Take the overnight train K23 (07:47-13:20+1) to Ulaanbaatar.

    Day 2 Ulaan Baatar arrival, excursion to Hustai Natural Reserve (no meal)
    Arrive Ulaanbaatar at 13.20 pm. Meet at the train station and drive to Drive to Hustai Natural Reserve (90 km from Ulaan Baatar). After checking-in to the tourist camp, go for hiking the area. Horse riding session. Overnight at the Ger, Mongolian traditional dwellings.

    Day 3 Transfer to Terelj, Terelj National Park excursion (Breakfast)
    After breakfast, we will drive to Terelj National Park. Have lunch at Ger camp and spend the day touring the area and enjoying the magnificent alpine scenery. There are great opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, visiting nomadic family, explore their unique lifestyle and experience horse riding. Enjoy Aryapal Meditation Temple and Turtle Rock, which is 20 m high. Stay in Ger camp in the tourist resort.

    Day 4 Transfer to Ulaan Baatar (Breakfast)
    After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival we will do short city tour including Sukhbaatar Square, National History Museum and Zaisan Hill. In the afternoon have free time for shopping and leisure time. Overnight at Kempinski Khan Palace Hotel

    Day 5 Overnight board train to Irkutsk (Breakfast)
    Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning have leisure time at hotel. In the afternoon after check-out hotel we will visit Gandan Monastery and enjoy traditional folklore concert at 6:00 PM. Also we have time for shopping and we can visit cashmere factory store. Take train to Irkutsk from Ulaanbaatar (There are #263 trains everyday at 21:15 PM)
    Transfer to the train station and depart at 21.50 pm. Overnight on train

    Day 7 Irkutsk arrival, Lake Baikal excursion (Breakfast)
    Arrival in Irkutsk. Meet & Greet.
    Breakfast at a city restaurant.
    Transfer to Listvyanka (65 km away from Irkutsk). Listvyanka is the village on the south bank of lake Baikal near the source of Angara river. From here you can start acquaintance with unique lake. En route to Listvyanka, visit to the museum of wooden architecture «Taltsi». This museum, like no other, brings to life the unique Siberian architectural and cultural heritage. You will learn about the native peoples and early settlers. Opportunity to look at the works of local artists and craftsmen as you stroll around the museum territory.
    Visit to Baikal museum, where you will find 11 large aquariums with whole Baikal fauna from crustaceans till Baikal nerpa. How old is Lake Baikal? How deep is Lake Baikal? Who was the first to measure the depth of the Baikal? How Baikal seals managed to wind up here and nowhere else on earth, fully adapted to fresh water and separated by more than 3000 kilometers from its nearest relative, the Arctic ringed seal? We will answer all your questions and offer a wealth of information about Lake Baikal.
    Tour around Listvyanka with visiting Krestovaya valley and St. Nickolas Church. This area is steeped in history and spiced with modern day intrigues and comforts.
    Visit to the local gift and fish market.
    Transfer to a hotel in Listvyanka. Check-in.

    Day 8 Transfer to Irkutsk, city tour (Breakfast)
    Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Check-out.
    Transfer to Irkutsk.
    City tour. Irkutsk is the ancient Siberian city which founded 350 years ago and has more than 700 monuments of history and culture. The city is proud of his architecture with Siberian wooden houses, cathedrals and monasteries, modern business centers and hotels.
    Transfer to the hotel in Irkutsk. Check-in.

    Day 9 Irkutsk excursion to Ust Orda Buryat Village, overnight train to Moscow (Breakfast)
    Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
    Transfer to Ust Orda settlement (75 km away from Irkutsk) – administrative and cultural center of Ust Orda Buryat National Region. Visit to the Local Lore museum. Get acquainted with the way of life, cuisine and shamanic traditions of western Buryats. You will see the shamanic ceremony of ridding the body and spirit of evil.
    Transfer to the railway station and departure to Moscow by train.
