Excursion tour from Harbin
Yabuli, about 200km (3.5 hours by car) east of Harbin, was the site of the 1996 Asian Winter Games. Daguokui Mountain, the actual ski area, is a 25km jeep ride from the mountain. As China's premier ski resort, Yabuli has a number of qualities down hill and country trails, ranging from runs for new skiers to highly challenging ones. Yabuli also has the longest Toboggan run in the world. Yabuli Windmill Village, situated at about 200km to the east of the renowned northern city Harbin and 120km to the west of Mudanjiang city stands to the southeast of Yabuli National Forest Park in Heilongjiang Province. The village occupies over 300 hectares and acts as the Vacation Resort. An all year round integrated tourism resort. Windmill Village is the largest one in China specialized in ski tourism.
