09:30 Li-river cruise starts
Cruise embarkation at 09:30 From Guilin to Yangshuo, the river meanders through 83 kilometers of beautiful countryside, with bamboo forests, dense reed-beds and spectacular rock formations. The journey will continue past Pierced Hill (Chuanshan), Clean Vase Hill (Jingpingshan), Embroidery Hill (Xiushan), and--at about the halfway point--Picture Hill (Huashan).
It takes about three to four hours to visit this part of the river by boat. The best way to enjoy the river is to go up to the top deck to view the "long art gallery". The best season to visit is in March and October due to the temperate weather during these two months and ideal water level.

13:30 Yangshuo-Arrival
Yangshuo, located in northeastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, lies south of Guilin and is under the jurisdiction of the city of Guilin. The heart of Yangshuo is West Street, a place of leisure and excellent shopping, fine restaurants and comfortable family hotels. There are no tall buildings spoil the view. Nor are there any cars to pollute the air.
Free walk and relax in Yangshuo.

After more than half-day tour, which incl. the Cruise and Free time in Yangshuo. It’s the time for everyone to go back to Guilin.

Longsheng Rice Terraces 1 day, Guilin

Longsheng's main attraction is the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces. There are about 66 square kilometers terraced fields in southeast of Longsheng, 22.5 km. from the town seat, of which the terraced fields in Heping county show a picture of great momentum and imposing beauty, being reputed as "unrivalled in the world" and made one of the best 20 scenic spots in Guangxi. Dragon's backbone terrace was first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and labor of the Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen from afar. |

The distance from Guilin to Longsheng, and further to Heping County is around 120 km. It takes usually 2 hours by vehicle.
10:00 Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces -Arrival
Arrive at the bottom of Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces. Take mini local car to the middle of hill. Trekking to the top of the hill, enjoy the beautiful scenery.

12:00 Downhill
Return….visit Miao minority village on the way, possible to experience the local folk dance show.
14:30 Lunch time
Your lunch will be arranged at local restaurant near bottom of hill.
15:30 Longsheng-Departure
Transfer back to Guilin
