The Changchun Film Studio (Changchun dianying zhipianchang) was the first film factory to be built after the establishment of the People's Republic of China (P.R.C.) in 1950. It has provided a great number of films of high quality and amusement.

Approximately translating as Ever White Mountain, is generally acknowledged as the most famous mountain in Dongbei. The mountain rises in the northern part of Jilin's Antu County, and it gradually extends southwards towards a merging with the not easily locatable North Korean border. The main entertainment on the mountain is ice and snow related. A multitude of tourists come to this region in winter for the purpose of enjoying a bit of skiing or skating in an area that is a little more rural than your traditional alpine ski resort.
